Dual-engine securities intelligence

The filing is the last place the problem shows up.

Registries publish the second lien. Dealers reprice the loan. A supplier sues. Then, weeks later, the disclosure arrives and the write-down is already priced. VERITY reads all four layers at once, clusters only what independent sources corroborate, and hands the surviving case to a forensic workspace your counsel can defend line by line.

Built for credit analysts, portfolio VPs, valuation committees and the counsel who has to stand behind the finding. Not a screener, not a newsfeed, not a signal to trade on.

The problem

Your risk system is reading the slowest source in the stack

Disclosure is the layer the issuer controls. It is also the only layer most credit workflows monitor. Everything the issuer does not control publishes first: the lien, the mark, the docket, the entity formation.

By the time a filing tells you the collateral was pledged twice, the loan has already traded 22 points lower and the auditor has already resigned.

Architecture

Two engines, one governed handoff

Discovery and investigation are different disciplines with different failure modes. VERITY runs them as separate engines with a contract between them, so a loud signal can never become a claim without passing through evidence.

01

Discovery engine

LOFFCO Early Warning Radar

Version 4.3.1

Licensed to VERITY by LOFFCO Risk Management LLC. Attribution is carried on every derived output in the product and on this site.

Ingests the four layers continuously, clusters observations that corroborate across independent sources, and scores research attention. It is built to stand down as often as it escalates.

  • Four-layer ingest with cross-source clustering
  • Source-independence scoring on every cluster
  • Smear-campaign and coordinated-claim detection
  • Stand-down records with retained reasoning
  • Weekly published run with coverage-gap disclosure
02

Investigation engine

VERITY Forensic Case Builder

Version 2.6.0

Rebuilds the financial picture from primary records, tests every alternative explanation before a claim survives, and holds the case behind five gates that a reviewer can inspect.

  • Financial reconstruction against reported figures
  • Pattern analysis with cohort benchmarks
  • Hypothesis challenge and alternative-explanation testing
  • Evidence vault with custody and originality tracking
  • Claims matrix with counsel disposition per claim

The handoff contract

Machine readable at /api/manifest. No claim inherits the cluster narrative; every claim is rebuilt from primary sources inside the case.

Discovery

Four layers, scored for independence before they are scored for severity

A cluster built from four observations that all trace to one source is one observation. The radar resolves provenance first, then counts.

01

Disclosure and filings

Continuous, 4-minute median lag from acceptance

Registrant filings, auditor changes, late-filing notifications, restatement language, covenant amendments and exhibit diffs. The layer that tells you what the company chose to say, and when it changed how it said it.

  • EDGAR full-text and exhibit diffs
  • Auditor change filings
  • Late-filing notifications
  • Credit agreement amendments
  • Foreign registrant equivalents
02

Market and credit microstructure

Daily close, intraday on escalation

Secondary loan marks, dealer quote dispersion, borrow cost, CDS curve shape and BDC-to-BDC mark divergence on the same obligor. The layer that shows where capital has already repriced risk the disclosure has not caught up to.

  • Secondary loan quote composites
  • Cross-holder mark divergence
  • Securities lending cost and utilization
  • Single-name credit curves
03

Counterparty and entity network

Daily, with 24 to 72 hour registry publication lag

UCC-1 filings, lien perfection order, registered agent overlap, SPV formation sequence and beneficial-owner resolution across jurisdictions. The layer where collateral is pledged twice and the structure admits it before management does.

  • State UCC and lien registries
  • Secretary of State entity formation
  • Registered agent and officer graph
  • Offshore registry filings
04

Adversarial and field record

Daily docket sweep, hourly on tracked matters

Federal and state dockets, regulator enforcement calendars, administrative proceedings, supplier and employment disputes. The layer that surfaces the parties who already sued, already complained, or already left.

  • PACER and state court dockets
  • State securities regulator actions
  • Administrative law proceedings
  • Labor and supplier claim records

Noise control

A radar that cannot stand down can be aimed by anyone

Short campaigns, promoted claim sets and coordinated posting all look like signal in a keyword system. VERITY treats them as a provenance problem and resolves them the same day.

  1. 01

    Source independence

Registrant, host, processor and timing are resolved across every account in a claim set. A shared registrant collapses the set to one source.

  2. 02

    Primary-record check

The central claim is tested against the filing index, the registry and the docket before it can raise a score.

  3. 03

    Interested-party weighting

Adversarial documents from parties with a position carry reduced standing until an independent layer corroborates.

  4. 04

    Retained reasoning

Every stand-down keeps its evidence and its logic, so an issuer can be re-scored the moment a real observation appears.

Who uses it

Four seats, four questions, one record

The desk opens on the question the seat is actually accountable for, not a generic dashboard everyone has to translate.

Credit analyst

What changed on my names since Friday?

An action queue ordered by what moved, with the observation, the exposure route and the next step on each row.

Portfolio VP

Where is the exposure concentrated, and through which route?

Direct, thematic, control failure and sponsor mark migration sized separately, so a theme never gets defended as an exposure.

Valuation committee

Can I defend this mark against the other holders?

Cross-holder comparison on matched instrument, seniority and date, with the policy differences stated.

Counsel

Which claims survive, and what was tested against them?

A claims matrix with every alternative explanation, the test run, the result and a disposition field that only counsel writes.

Limits

What the platform will not do, enforced in the architecture

These are not policy statements. There is no endpoint, no publication surface and no execution surface for any of them.

  1. 01

    No autonomous regulatory submission

VERITY never prepares, signs or transmits a submission to any regulator on its own initiative. Counsel must clear the gate and the client must instruct in writing.

  2. 02

    No public accusation

Output is scoped to the licensed client workspace. There is no publication path to press, platform or counterparty.

  3. 03

    No trading recommendation

The score is a measure of research attention. There is no price target, no position sizing and no execution surface.

  4. 04

No material obtained in breach of duty

Unsolicited material is quarantined at intake, screened for privilege, and excluded from every claim until counsel disposes of it.
